Client site.
My trusty old 20" CRT got fried. Same month, the group I'm working for has
lost 3 laptops so far. I'm guessing the AC power up there is suspect.
Currently, the box there is running without a monitor.
So I ran out and bought a GateWay 19x12 - intending to swap one of my home
monitors in to the client site box and use the new monitor at home.
But when I Remote Desktop-ed into the client site PC with the new monitor on my
home box, I only got 1600 x 1200.
Is this a limit built in to Remote Desktop?
Seems like the Remote Desktop software bypasses the video card completely - or
have I got that wrong and maybe I should go up there and play around with the
PC's video card (Radeon 7000)?
