I recently upgraded a W2K sp4 system to XP Pro sp1 so that I
could use Remote Desktop. I enabled Remote Desktop on XP
Pro and configured remote users.

When I try to connect from any computer running Remote Desktop
client or XP Pro I get the following error message: "The local policy of this system does not permit
you to logon interactively"

I have tried to login using both the Remote Id and the Administrator
Id. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Chuck - I'm not finding your answer immediately.

There's a thread in this group dated 5/10 subject "logon interactively
error"

It is a little vague, but your answer is in there--and it is a policy
setting which isn't right on w2k upgrades, as I recall.
