Hi all,

Is there a way to configure my WinXP Pro home PC to accept Remote Desktop
Connection from my WinXP pro PC at office? If yes, how?

Thanks in advance,

Garu

See this page for help with this issue. Of course this presumes your office network administrators
do not block TCP Port 3389 outbound. You might check with them about that and to see if you don't
violate any company policy about connecting your work PC to an untrusted host, ie. your home PC.

Alternatively you can run Remote Desktop through a Secure Shell (SSH) or VPN tunnel for additional
security...

Before connecting configure the client for drive redirection. Then once the connection is made using
RD simply cut-n-paste/drag-n-drop files/folders between folders on the local and/or remote PC.
