Remote desktop connection on XP Home

Hi,

Is it possible to set up remote desktop connection for XP Home Edition? I
have a friend wants to be able to control his XP computer from work through
remote desktop, but it's running XP Home.

No, XP Home does not support MS Remote Desktop except as a client. There
are light weight 3rd party tools which can provide remote desktop access to
an XP Home machine. See, eg.:
