Remote Control Application

On both my moms and my own Windows XP Pro pc, I use zone alarm and the built
in XP firewall.

Is there an application that would allow me to remotely connect to my moms
machine and be able to see her screen and move the mouse without having to
shutdown either of my firewalls? If it makes any difference, my mom lives
in another city.
