1st things 1st... I am a networking novice...

Greetings,

I set up remote desktop connection on my Win 2000 PC at the office, and I
can access my (Win XP Pro) on my home PC. RDC works very well, and no need
to be a guru.

However, I cannot seem to connect my XP Pro machine to my Win 2000 machine
with RDC.

Am I attempting to do the impossible? Can I connect my XP Pro machine to my
Win 2000 machine, and control my desktop at the office? If so... how?

Thank you in advance for any assistence you may be able to provide.

There are two operating systems that will host a Remote Desktop session:
- Windows XP Professional
- Windows Server

As you see, Win2000 is not amongst them. To control a Win2000 PC
remotely, you need a third-party product such as WinVNC. It's free!
