When I attempt to connect to another computer to manage using computer
management I cannot get a prompt for userID/pass. If I have authenticated
to the remote system thru file sharing for excample and I have sufficient
rights, it will let me perform the tasks. However If i havent it simply
says access denied. How can I get it to prompt me for login info. I have
secondary login running and it works for file shares.

Hi,

Pls check your DCOM settings. These links seem to address this issue
