Remote Assistance Connection error

When trying to connect to friends computer I get the following error:
Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote
host name could not be resolved. Please try again.
We have enabled File and print sharing,and System-remote options. What else
could be the problem? Thanks.

Disable File and Print sharing.
Configure the firewall to allow Remote Assistance.
Forward any necessary ports through any routers.
