remote access

can any one give me the procedure (step by step) method
of accessing my pc at work(xp pro) from my home (xp pro
or home editon ) using xp remote desktop connection tool.

i dont want to use any other tool like pc anywhere etc

You'll have to find out what your IP address is at work
from the network admin first.

A lot of it depends on how your office machine connects to the
internet... Is it directly connected, or is their a firewall/gateway
involved?
