Hi
My son uses XP-HOME and I use XP-PRO
When my son wants my humble help - is there any way that I can get access to his pc,
that is "see" his pc on my screen and use my keyboard to interact with his pc?
My son and I will bee connected via the internet.

Windows has this capability built-in.

Your son first needs to select "Allow users to connect remotely" under
My Computer-Properties-Remote.

Afterwards, you can run Remote Desktop Connection (under
accessories-communication) to gain control of his machine. This will
log him off though (not sure how he can share his desktop using this
method).

He can also request remote assistance using MSN Messenger. I think this
allows the desktop to be shared rather than result in him being logged off.

The first method requires you to know his IP address (he can just
IPCONFIG /ALL in a DOS window). The second method does not require you
to know his IP address.
