Reminders to come up on flagged e-mails are not in your inbox

When I put an e-mail that has a reminder attached to it into one of my
folders, I would still like for that reminder to pop up when it is due!
Right now I can only get the reminder to pop up if I leave the e-mail in my
inbox. I like to have my inbox completely clear when I am finished for the
day! This is in Microsoft Office Outlook. I don't know what version I am
using!
