Reminders stopped working in Outlook 2003--Is there a way to reset?

My reminders have stopped working. I get a message that says "There was

a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders may not

appear. Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment."

Since I do not know what appointment they mean, I cannot fix it.

Is there any general reset of Outlook that might fix this problem?

Thanks,

Using cleanreminders works, but it does not completely cure the
problem. First, the same error message as I described before appears.
Then, when I click it off, the reminders window comes up OK. When I
start Outlook without the cleanreminders switch, I get the error
message and never get the reminders window.

Does this mean that I will have to open Outlook using the
cleanreminders switch indefinitely? Is there a way to cure the problem
permanently?

You should have to use it only once. Are you using a POP account or an
Exchange account? If the former, were I in your shoes, I'd create a new
PST, make it the delivery location (bottom left of Tools>E-mail
Accounts>Next), stop and restart Outlook, then copy all non-default folders
to the new PST with right-click>drag-and-drop>Copy, and all default folders
by opening each, selecting all the entries, and using
right-click>drag-and-drop>Copy. For the Calendar folder, the view must be a
list view like By Category before you can select everything. Finally, I'd
close the old PST with right-click>Close, then stop and restart Outlook.

/resetfolders might help, that resets the linkages to the hidden Reminders
folder, among other things. Also, sometimes using /cleanfreebusy in
conjunction with /cleanreminders also provides some extra cleanup.
