Reminders stop working

The reminders for appointments no longer appear on one of
my clients.

What is it I can check to restart the reminders on this
system. Outlook 2002 installed from Office XP Standard
 
Have you check the clients OPTIONS to see if
Reminder Notification has been turned off?
