Reminders about birthdays OL 03

I use OL 2003 and received today 2 reminders of a particular person's
birthday and I do not understand why. I have 3 contact files and can only
find him in one of these, the one called contacts. In his record in
Contacts I have nothing in the field named birthday. Nor do I have anything
in the field named spouse birthday. Why did I receive these two reminders
of his birthday?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Diane, thank you. There were two ocurrences of his birthday on my calendar.
I have deleted them and the others that I did not want to show up as
reminders. That solves the problem. Thanks again.
