To start, I have a Toshiba Satellite 5205-S503. I have recently been
having multiple problems and want to reload windows. My computer came
with three Recovery and Application disks. The last time I reloaded my
computer, everything worked fine. Now, when I boot from my floppy, it
says that I have the wrong disks for this machine. I know thats not
correct because the disks came with the computer plus I have used them
before. I contacted the Toshiba tech service. They told me to update
my DMI. I tried it and still no joy. Can anyone help?? I would also
like to know if I format my HD without the disks, will I be able to use
them in the re-install? How can I tell if the disks can be used for a
clean install rather than just a recovery?
