Reliability Monitor stopped one month after activation

The Reliability Monitor stopped just over 30 days from the date I activated
Windows Vista Home Premium. Is this by design? How do I make the thing work
again? I have tried restoring the system using the earliest restore point
available, but this did not change things. Any ideas?

Pete,

I've had this problem twice before (search these boards for Reliability
Monitor) and the only way I was able to fix the problem was performing a
'upgrade' of my current Vista system and even then it took 24 hours before
the RM started back up.

Let me ask you this. You said that RM worked for a month and then stopped
working. Did you add any users or change passwords within that month? I'm
only asking because I think that the problem is a right's issue. Whether you
did add users or change a password or not, my thoughts are that RM rights get
screwed up and it stops working.

Anyway, I'm not positive that the upgrade idea will work, but it did for me.
If you do try it please post your results in this thread - perhaps it will
help others who get this problem.
