I have a relationship that I'm trying to set up nut I get the error "Invalid
field definition 'ProjectID' in definistion of index or relationship." Using
the Help topic, I have noted that my field names are spelled correctly, and
it isn't a Memo field.

The primary table has ProjectID as the primary key, and the secondary table,
which is on the "many" side of the relationship, is not noted as primary key.
There is only one other field in the secondary which contains a number of
contacts related to ProjectID.

What else could I check that would cause this error?
Thanks in advance for suggestions!

The child table also needs a primary key or Access will not be able to
determine the relationship. You say that the ProjectID is not a memo field
but you don't say what its data type is. If ProjectID is an autonumber in
the project table, then it should be long integer in the contacts table.
