Ok just installed a 2003 server standard edt. Had everyone connected but one
computer could not see network, made the mistake of switching from domain
back to workgroup and now I cannot do anything, will not rejoin domain no
matter what I do. cannot logon locally either only allows user and password
change, I am trying to use recovery console to get in and edit the .dll file
or whatever I need to but need some help. I tried searching microsoft and
must have been searching for wrong info. Thanks guys.

I get an error message saying cannot find domain. Make sure your username and
password are typed correctly. I check my server and computer name and user
are in there. I was thinking that I might have to create a seperate cluster
under my local domain to get this computer to logon and then be able to get
into and make the correct change is this correct?

Also I should mention that when I go into Term Serv on my server I can
connect to the problem client, however I get same logon error even when I try
to sign on as an admin, which was cached in this particular computer already.
Thanks not sure if this will help

Have you changed the logon type from domain to local PC? Click the Advanced
button on the logon screen and log on with a local administrator account.

I can't, it does not give me the option to change the location. Only gives me
the username and password, I am going to try logging on with the original
username and password before it was converted to the server, see if that
works if not, can I add the workgroup to the forest as a second cluster to
get it to at least join the domain then go in and switch it back to the main
cluster???

What happens when you click the Advanced button? If nothing, then the
computer is already off the domain and logging in locally and a local admin
account will work.
