Reinstalling Windows XP

Have been trying to reinstall XP, but the computer seems to stall when it
gets to the licensing aggrement where you have to press F8. Have pressed F8 a
dozen times with no luck. Can anybody Please, Please, help.

drive failure. check the BIOS, or if RAID or SATA drive. put those drivers
on a floppy, and watch for the "Press F6 for Raid" prompt during the file
copy phase (at the bottom of the screen)
