Reinstalling windows...can't install SATA drivers, F6 won't Work!!

My computer crashed in the middle of the night, and I have spent the last 6
hours trying to get it back up, but I can't even get past the stupid "Setup
did not find Hard Disk Drives" stuff. I know that I have to hit F6 when it
asks me to, but the F6 doesn't seem to be registering with the computer. I
don't think it is the F-lock, because the F3 buttotn works when I go to exit
the setup at the end. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Step #1: Does System BIOS see the hard drive?
