Reinstalling W2000

I want to uninstall Windows XP & reinstall Windows 2000 that came with my
laptop. However I don't have the W2000 CD. I think I saw a Microsoft KB that
describes the procedure but I can't find. Can someone point me in the right
direction?

There is no right direction. If you don't have it, you can't install it.

If Windows 2000 came with the computer, you can try asking the computer
manufacturer for help, but that's your only option.
 
As Ken says, that's pretty much it. However, depending on your computer
manufacturer, there might be a hidden partition on your hard drive that
contains the original operating system. You might check for this.

Yes, that was the main reason I suggested his contacting the computer
manufacturer.
