reinstalling upgrade version of xp due to trojans

i have an upgraded xp pro already on my system. I have
trojans, adware, and spyware on my system. I have done
everything msn tech support numerous times, downloaded
spybot, adaware 6.0, and currently and have had symantec
corp running constantly. I am being told to reformat my
hardrive. here is the problem. I only have windows me
full version and the xp pro upgrade. tech support told
me to use document from microsoft 311755 for smartdrive
is needed to install xp pro over windows me. where do I
find that information? pleae help...... i am running a
business and can't operate smoothly.

Gary, you can do a clean install of WinXP from a Upgrade CD as long as
you have a valid Win9X or Me
Disk. Check here for more info.
