reinstalling other sofware after xp reinstall

I wanted to know if I reinstall xp pro, without reformatting the hard drive,
if I will have to reinstall all of my other software such as photoshop, NAV,
Quicken and all of the hardware drivers? I'm trying to avoid this pain, I
want to aquire a genuine copy of windows without all of the hardship of total
reinstallation. Has anyone avoided this problem with the electronic license
purchase?
