Reinstallation after hard drive reformat

Am I going to have issues with "Product Activation" if I
reformat my hard drive and want to reinstall Windows XP?
In the Product Activation FAQ it says that sometimes a
new code is needed in this situation, but I don't want to
do it if I'm going to have to pay for a new one. Will
they give me one for free?

Hi,
If you are unable to activate Windows XP via the
internet, then select the option to "activate by
telephone". It is free and painless.

No. You can do this as often as you like.

Yes. There is never a need to pay anything extra.
