Reinstall XP - Will Windows crash in 30 days?

Guest

I had to reinstall Windows XP on the laptop it was originally installed on.
Have registered and activated it again. Will that allow me to permanently
run XP or will it crash in 30 days because it "thinks" it is a bootleg copy
of one installed on a different machine? What do I do to ensure it works?

If you suceesfully activated Windows XP after a reinstall,
then you can be assured it will continue to function normally.
There is no limit to the number of times you can activate
Windows XP, as long as it is reinstalled on the same computer.

To check the activation status:

Go the Start > Run and type: oobe/msoobe /a , and hit enter.
