Wee we bought 2 new hard drives for both of our computers to hve a bit more
space. thata said they are the dame models and brands just a larger size.
cleaned alll of the harddrives and did a fresh install of everything.
Atm we have the same software running on both. we had this software running
sp2 before the clean install here is the list of software.
windows xp sp2
nortons 2003
alcohol 120%
java 2 runtime
adobe acrobat 6.0
ad-aware se
Music match
and a couple video games
They both have sound hardware. I can put any item into a friends pc
including ram and it runs fine.
But I'm getting 2 different bugchecks both the same bugchecks on both PC's
the 2 bugchecks that are crashing the PC's are 0x100000d1 and 0x1000007f.
after running xp on both of these pc's ever since 2 monts after it came out
I have only ever had 1 system crash of XP. and they both ran fine running the
same stuff before the clean install including the exact same versions of the
drivers. I have no viruses or ad/spyware running.
This is the first time i have reinstalled Xp and its been allmost 4 years
now and the fact as they ran fine with the dame software/drivers before the
reinstall make me think it has to be in the way windows patched. because i
was running sp 2 before.
I have had a total of 10 crashes between the 2 pc's in less than a week any
suggestions would help please.
