Windows was giving me all kinds of problems after
cleaning it of viruses and installing some upgrades.
Copied necessary files to another computer over network.
Reformatted and reinstalled w2k. Reinstalled a employee
scheduling program okay. Tried to reload Office 2000.
Stated there is no installer or an improper installer.
Cannot install W2K.
Thought I might need an update. Went and got Symantec
Anti Virus ( not gonna catch me twice). Won't load
that. When I tried to use the web sight. It either
didn't print the pages or just kept running and doing
nothing.
Got svchost.exe created and error and it said explorer
would shut down. It didn't and I could still browse. I
know because I went to Microsoft for help and it would
only show some pages and not others although it did
indicate they were loaded.
Lastly I tried to disconnect from the internet and it
would not disconnect. The only things on this computer
are Windows 2000 and a simple employee scheduler.
