Jim

The folowing commands causes a problem on a computer
running XP Professional. The same gacutil and regsvcs
commands worked fine on a second computer that had the
same configuration. Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Jim

Hello Jim,

The error message shows that during the installation process, it couldn't
find a assembly DLL. So please confirm that:

1) If your strong named DLL has some depency DLLs?
2) Please move all the relative DLLs to a same directory and test again.

If the problem still can't be resolved, please post here. Thanks.

Hello Jim and Richardson,

I tested your dll and reproduced the problem. My testing environment is:
Windows XP Professional version, English version,
NET framework 1.1,
VS.NET 2003.

Could you please recompile the DLL again on that machine to see if the recompilation could resolve the problem? Thanks
very much.

Best regards,
Yanhong Huang
