Regmon!

I used Regmon.exe to record registry changes when I changed the features of
my serial ports.
But I found there were so many items in log file that I don't know which
items caused effect.

Would anyone give me some hints?

Ann,

You may want to use a different tool to monitor registry changes after a
peformed user (dev) action. Search google for InCtrl5 (it could also be
found on www.xpefiles.com) or RegSnap (my personal favorite). The tools
allow you to get snapshots of registry at some points, compare the snapshots
and get a log of the modified registry entries.

Regarding you serail ports regmon log, it is hard to tell since you have not
attached the log of registry entries that were changed.
