Annoyed every time you open the registry it's expanded from you last visit?
Here's a neat way to fix that:
Open Windows Explorer to Program Files, create a new folder named Registry
Collapsed. Go to Kelly"s web page:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and download #47 "Regedit -
Clear last State" to your new folder. Open the folder, right click on
regopen.vbs and create a shortcut. Now go to C>Documents and Settings>All
Users>Start Menu>Programs>Accessories>System Tools and drag and drop the
shortcut. Right click the shortcut and name it Regedit. You can change the
Icon to the Regedit file by going to C>Windows>System32 and use the Icon
form the Regedit32 file. Now go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System tools
and you will find Regedit. Open it and the registry is collapsed each time.
If you are running NAV you will get a virus alert asking if you want to
accept the script. Select the option to accept it every time. Believe me
it's safe.
Thanks Kelly for you fix.
