registry fix for explorer?

Hi, I installed vista the other day and so far i've only found one thin
that annoys me to death.

When you select Group By: Name, in windows explorer, it groups A-F
G-L, and so on... making it a total of maybe 5 huge groups wich i d
NOT want.

this is rediculously usless since i get a huge chunk of folders wic
beats the grouping folders by name...

i want it to be like in windows xp, a separate group for each letter i
the alphabet, A,B,C,D,E and so on.

does anyone know if there is a registry fix for this? there has to b
one... :/

ive looked around on many forums and have found many people with th
same problem, but no sollution. does anybody have any ideas here

Right click in the folder then group by (none). Then right click and sort by
name.

Right click in the folder then group by (none). Then right click an
sort by
name.

that is NOT what i mean. that makes it one big group, wich is als
useless

i said that i wanted it like in windows xp, one group per letter in th
alphabet

like this:

A:______________________

Afolder01
Afolder02

{BLANK SPACE}

B:______________________

Bfolder01
Bfolder02

{BLANK SPACE}

C:______________________

Cfolder01
Cfolder02

{BLANK SPACE}

D:______________________

Dfolder01
Dfolder02

{BLANK SPACE}

and so on untill Z.

i cant show you a screenshot since i dont have xp anymore, but yo
should get the idea from this demonstration

Hi there, I don't remember being able to do that on XP, but its amazing how
quickly you forget once you change to a different OS.
