registry filter startup

Hi,

I have added an extra entry in the registry filter.
This entry is restore on reboot.
However the restore happens to late.
I have an other driver who needs the values update in registry but the
registry filter driver updates the values to late.
Changing the registry filter driver to load at boot, makes the
registry filter don't work anymore.
Making Registry Filter the lowerfilter of the other driver doesn't
solve the problem also.
Is there any way to get when Registry filter has restored the correct
values?

I haven't tried this myself, but did you try making your driver dependent on
the registry filter ? What is the start type of your driver ?

I have tried that.
I had even added in my driver a sequence so that he would wait for the
registry filter but it kept in an endless loop.
I find it strange that the registry filter no bootdriver is.
The data should be restored as soon as possible.
In the current way, i lose the change that already have been made
before the restore.

I also find that if you want to change the type in device manager that
it wasn't possible.
Start and stop also didn't work. I get an errormessage.(going to post
this later)
