Registry Entry for start menu...

Does anyone know a fix or regedit entry to make it so when I go to
start - programs the list is automatically full without having to
click on the arrow to see all programs. I assume this will also fix
the problem in windows programs when you like file -edit - view
etc. I hate having to click the down arrow to see the full menu.

Thanks

Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
Select Properties from the menu.
In "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties", click on the Start Menu
tab.
Hit the Customize button.
If you're using the XP style Start menu, click on the Advanced
tab.
In the "Start menu items" box, put a check mark in the box next
to "Scroll Programs".
Click OK twice.
If you're using the Classic style Start menu, look for "Scroll
Programs" in the "Advanced Start menu options" box.
Once again, put a check mark in the box next to "Scroll
Programs".
Also, look for "Use personalized menus" and remove the check
mark next to this item.

Keep in mind that programs such as Microsoft Office require you
to make changes from within the programs if you want to see the
entire drop down menu. For example, in Microsoft Word 2003,
click on Tools -> Customize -> Options and put a check mark in
the box next to "Always show full menus". If using an older
version, there should be a similar setting available. In Word
2000 you'd uncheck "Menus show recently used commands first".

Good luck
