Registry Editing

Mark

Hi,
When I run my anti virus, or my registry clean up
programs, they inform me that they can not alter any
registry entries as registry editing has been disabled by
the administrator.

Thanks.

That will either be because you have a group policy dictated by your domain saying that registry editing is disabled, or a local policy setup for that matter (start / control panel / Admin Tools / Local security policy) to check that, or you dont have admin rights on the pc.

Hope that helps
