Registry change - Now Win2k won't start

Hello,

In a fit of complete stupidity I made a change to regedit.exe. The change
was that I relabelled my hard drive in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices (from \DosDevices\C: to
\DosDevices\D:). After shutting down the computer I powered back up to find
to my horror that after entering my username and password, nothing happens.
My fear is that I have lost my hard drive! Does anyone know how I can fix
this problem?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks, Peter

Restore the system hive from the recovery console using your backup.
