registry back up

How do I back up my registry to a cd or floppy? Backup in
Windows XP does not seem to allow this.
 
Open MS Registry Editor (Run/regedit), make sure only "My Computer" shows
(pressing Left Arrow will get you there if necessary). Then File/Export to a
folder of your choice. Make sure "All" is selected in "Export Range."
