Registered to

I purchased this windows XP home edition computer and in
the system screen it shows that it is registered to the
old user. Also in documents settings I have All users and
the old user. When I am loading programs r=they are
loading under old user along with All users. When I tried
to rename the folder name (of the old user)it did not let
me do it. What are my options.
