Region Free DVD Drives and Spyware Protection

If you buy DVDs from America or other countries, but can't easily play them on your current DVD drive, you can always unlock it. Many TV DVD players are shipped "region free", but your PC DVD Drive can also be converted.

Instead of going this seemingly long process, why not just install something like regioncssfree or dvdidle pro? The program starts up automatically when you put the DVD in and you don't even notice that it is running, except for the icon in the sys tray. The free version only comes with 15 min playback time though. You can get the serial online.
