T Tommy Webb Jun 30, 2003 #1 Is there a way to restrict users from editing the registry through group policy?
K Kevin Mattson Jun 30, 2003 #2 Tommy User Configuration\System\Disable registry editing tools. Enable that policy and it will disable registry editing with regedit and regedt32 (and I believe TweakUI also). However it doesn't block most third party registry editing tools.
