I notice that when I look at the registry with regedit
that I have a lot of keys that in in ".1" like:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AccClientDocMgr.AccClientDocMgr
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AccClientDocMgr.AccClientDocMgr.1

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AMOVIE.ActiveMovie Control
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AMOVIE.ActiveMovie Control.2

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\XLogUtil.ULXLogCObj
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\XLogUtil.ULXLogCObj.1

Only in this catagory not in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_USERS
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG

what might have caused this ? do I need reinstall ?

It's perfectly normal. It's versioning. If you look under the one without a number it points to the one with the number.

Why would you bother posting a question like this here. You are not qualified to be in the registry.
