regedit doesnt run

Hi,

I have added registry editor component but when i run
regedit, it just doesnt do anything. it just comes out
without doingn anything.

Where am i going wrong ?
I appreciate your help.

Did you turn on Auto-Dependency when you add the Registry Editor component?

Regedit.exe has many dependencies. I'd suggest you to check the exe's
dependecies with Dependency Walker and add all the components that have
required dlls.

Do you still have the WinSxS-directory? I deleted it once and had the same problem.

Hi,

The image seems to have all the dependencies and also
WinSxS as mentined below. It still refuses to start.

Any ideas ?
