I have just reinstalled XP pro after a hard drive crash. We have two users
both with admin priviledges. When I try to instal some drivers I get the
message along tha lines of " Registry editing has been disabled by your
Administrator"

I certainly did not set up anything this way, in fact I havn't even logged
on to the computer as admin yet.

Any clues please?

You can try the 'easy' way first of all.
Logging on as Administrator, right click the driver program icon, and the
<Run As> option box should come up. Ensure the option 'Protect my computer
from unauthorised program activity' is unchecked, otherwise the registry
cannot be altered. Then try running the driver program.
