RegEdit changing

I'm an Access db guy. But this isn't a database question I don't think.

Brought back someone's Access.mdb. Standard 2 apps ; one a front end and
one the back end - and usually you relink using the link manager within
Access when first opening in a new location.

However this one won't open - upon open process it says it can not find
R:\FileName in the registry. Of course I don't have the R: This
isn't an Access failure - the user forewarned me that embedded in it was to
look for the back end registry....I've just never seen this before......

Because I can't open it - I can't going into the Access program to get it to
stop looking for it when it opens.....so am thinking I need to make an entry
into the register that conforms....but not sure and would welcome advice on
this issue....thnks

In addition to the useful suggestion by 3c273, you might want to posting to
one of the access newsgroups, maybe one of the developer ones? Look under
microsoft.public.access for a list of them.
