HI
From what I have read on the internet my computer has been infected with a virus of some sort that is stopping regedit and task manager from staying open. I have run several antivirus programs including trend micro at home, malwarebytes, AVG....and I have removed a lot of virus/etc. The system seems clean now but I still can't access regedit or the task manager. I would be grateful if someone could try to help as I'm feeling very frustrated with this issue. Thanks

A report from HijackThis after the clean is as follows

HI and welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately PCR no longer do HJT reports.
Your best bet would be to go over to Bleeping Computers where they have adedicated team to take care of HJT reports.
Alternatively you could back up what data you have on your PC and perform a fresh install of your OS. In my opionion that would be a better option.
And if you do a fresh install, do yourself a favour and get rid of AVG, go for one of the freebies like MSE or AVAST, two very highly rated AV's :D
