Regarding the Asp.net 2.0 login control

Hi,

i want to create a login page in asp.net 2.0 where in there are many
different users and they have acess to different pages.All details of
the users are stored in a table in an sql server database.
Presently i am using an old method to validate the users and redirect
them to different pages.
Please let me know the new method in asp.net 2.0 to do this.
