Reg Refresh

I need to add a key and refresh the registry, without a reboot. I have
tried killing the expolorer processs and restarting the explorer process but
this did not seem to get it.

Is there an other way. The key I am adding is
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\Desktop]
Value Name: MultiUILanguageID Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value) Value Data:
0x409 (1033
decimal)

This is so that a piece of software I am installing always installs as
ENGLISH reguardless of the regional settings.

Is there an other way to refresh the registry other than reboot or killing
explorer?

I have not tried this myself, but here is a word from MS
Change method
To change the value of this entry, use Group Policy. This entry corresponds
to the Restrict selection of Windows 2000 menus and dialogs language Group
Policy (User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Regional
Options). Use the drop-down list box to select a language.

Are you familiar with regedit.exe but wish it could do more. Then try
RegmagiK. Unique enhancements like explorer shortcuts, fast search, and
address bar with autocomplete make it the tool of choice for system
administrators, software developers, etc. It was tested on Windows 98, NT,
2000, XP, and Windows Server 2003.

Boris-
Thank you for the link, and this works, but I still have to reboot to make
the setting take effect. I need to find a way to refresh the registry so that
this change is accknowledged and a reboot is not needed.
