Refreshing a [Read-Only] file

Hi,

Is there a way to refresh a [Read-Only] copy without
having to close it and re-open it similiar to refeshing a
web browser or Edit>>Links>>update links for links?

Maybe.

If I File|SaveAs and save it readonly recommended (and open it readonly), or
just open it readonly (clicking on the Open button arrow and selecting
readonly), then this works ok for me.

tools|customize|Commands Tab|File Category

At the bottom is: "Toggle readonly"

Drag it to your favorite toolbar (and try it out)

But if I marked the file Readonly in windows explorer or it's readonly because
someone else is editting it, then I don't think that this will work.
