Reformatting External Hard drive

I have an external hard drive that is partitioned into two segments.
It is NTFS. I'm using XP SP2. I want to reformat it so that it now has
only one partition. How do i do this? TYIA.

Hello,

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk
Management (under Storage)

Delete the partitions and create a new one as necessary in the row
corresponding to your external drive letter.
