Reformatted No Web images

After reformatting and fresh install of Win XP Pro for a friend. I cannot
view images on the web. The placeholder shows but no images. Also it does
not set the page correctly for pages created with macromedia.

My Pictures on computer shows images fine. I cannot view pictures on the
web. I have gone through my settings and all seems right. Any suggestions?
