This is probably a stupid question, but if I were to
reformat my hard drive, would I lose all of the
information that is saved on my computer right now? And
if so, is there any possible way of recovering any of it.

Reformatting a hard drive wipes it clean of all files.
Once you reformat, there are no files to recover.

Thanks, I think this is the second time today that you
have answered a question of mine. Thanks!

Yes. That's what's formatting does. It cleans everything off the
drive.

There are unformat programs on the market. I have no experience
with any of these and can't tell you how successful they might
be.

Also note that you can take the drive to a professional file
recovery company. This kind of service is very expensive and may
or may not work in your case.
